Government Account Manager – Central US Region, Autodesk Software

We seek a positive, energetic team player who desires a meaningful career with our company by providing consultative sales to prospective and existing government clients. The position requires assessing client needs, developing and presenting solutions, and managing projects while providing stellar customer service. We have associate-level positions available.

This position is fully remote and open to candidates in the Eastern, Central or Mountain time zones or those willing to adjust hours to match the Central US business hours.

Essential Job Functions

  • Prospect, cold call and develop new business relationships/customer accounts within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Manage monthly appointment activity and pipeline in CRM.
  • Provide consultation to customers regarding product assessment, procurement, services, training, and consulting services
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Attend product training as required.
  • Maintain a stellar relationship with peers and the sales team.

 Job Qualifications

  • Be relentless and driven to develop and grow new business
  • Must be self-motivated, adaptable, coachable, and embrace a challenge
  • Understand solutions selling and how to create a territory plan
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Background in technology sales or Autodesk products is beneficial but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience
